New traveler and visitor-friendly publication produced by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) and HCP Media promotes multicultural and heritage tourism in Greater Miami and the Beaches.

MIAMI, April 28, 2017 – As part of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau’s initiative to promote the culture and rich heritage of Greater Miami and the Beaches’ diverse and fascinating communities, the 2017/18 Greater Miami & The Beaches Multicultural Guide was created to showcase Greater Miami’s cultural tourism offering to our visitors.

The new 2017/18 Greater Miami & The Beaches Multicultural Guide is a collaboration between the GMCVB’s Multicultural Tourism & Development division and award-winning publisher HCP Media to produce this publication, the first of its kind.

The portable, informative and visually striking guide focuses on Greater Miami’s core heritage neighborhoods: Little Havana, Little Haiti, Coconut Grove Village West and Historic Overtown. It also offers samplings of other culturally significant attractions, events, itineraries and worthwhile experiences that both visitors and locals can enjoy throughout Greater Miami and the Beaches.

“In addition to highlighting our destination’s wonderful weather, natural beauty and many attractions, showcasing our multicultural neighborhoods to our global visitors and local community will always be a part of the GMCVB’s overall marketing strategy,” says William D. Talbert, III, CDME, President & CEO of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. “The diverse history and heritage throughout Greater Miami featured in this special publication elevate our ongoing efforts to create awareness of the many historic sites, attractions, events, restaurants, retailers and businesses that are a part of the cultural fabric of our vibrant community.”

“The mission of this publication was clear from its inception,” states Marisa Beazel, President & Publisher of HCP Media. “HCP Media is proud to support the GMCVB’s initiative to highlight a meaningful tourism experience that showcases the richness of Miami’s multicultural offering and heritage neighborhoods.”

The 2017/18 Greater Miami & The Beaches Multicultural Guide features 64 pages of rich content, helpful listings and striking photography that focuses on Greater Miami’s cultural landmarks, ethnic enclaves and historic sites. The guide was thoughtfully created to take visitors on a journey of discovery through Greater Miami’s distinctive heritage neighborhoods and one-of-a-kind experiences that help reveal all the unique aspects that make Miami a destination like no other. Its portability and informative format make it a valuable resource to visitors as well as locals who wish to discover the wonders of a Miami they may have never known before.
