FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Pocket-friendly publication produced by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) and HCP Media is a great resource for convention attendees, delegates and visitors on the go in Greater Miami and the Beaches.

MIAMI, October 9, 2017 – As part of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau’s mission to cater to visitors during their visit to Greater Miami and the Beaches, the 2017/2018 Greater Miami & the Beaches Pocket Guide was created to showcase Greater Miami’s diverse multicultural neighborhoods, unique attractions, restaurants, amenities and services in a format that appeals to convention attendees, delegates and busy visitors on the go.

Featuring the brand-new Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science on the cover, the 2017/2018Greater Miami & the Beaches Pocket Guide is a convenient, portable and informative guide that serves as an abridged version of the Vacation Planner/Travel Planner/Visitors Guide. Similar to its companion publication, the Pocket Guide now includes a special section dedicated to Greater Miami’s neighborhoods. It also includes a brand new advertiser-driven section highlighting Greater Miami’s flourishing and diverse craft beer scene.

The 2017/2018 Greater Miami & the Beaches Pocket Guide is one of our more sought-after publications,” says William D. Talbert, III, CDME, President & CEO of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Our goal was to create the best resource for our guests, especially convention delegates and attendees. We considered the unique needs of visitors who have a short time in our community and may need a quick reference guide to go back to during their time here; whether that time is a week-long event, an overnight stay or just an hour-long lunch break between convention meetings.”

“This publication may be small, but definitely packs a punch,” states Marisa Beazel, President & Publisher of HCP Media. “Incorporating the neighborhoods in this year’s edition adds another dimension to this publication and also solidifies its mission as the companion to the Vacation Planner/Travel Planner/Visitors Guide.”

The 2017/2018 Greater Miami and the Beaches Pocket Guide features 144 colorful pages of rich content, neighborhood editorial and informative listings that are easier than ever to navigate and reference.

The 2017/2018 Greater Miami & the Beaches Pocket Guide is available at visitor centers, upon request and at meetings and conventions at the Miami Beach Convention Center, as well as other member meeting spaces throughout Greater Miami and the Beaches.
